Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level Automation Engineer to support automation systems and manufacturing equipment in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or life sciences environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to build a career in industrial automation, process control, and manufacturing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems used in manufacturing operations
• Assist with automation system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Support equipment commissioning, qualification, and validation ( IQ/OQ/PQ )
• Monitor automated production systems and resolve technical issues
• Prepare and maintain automation documentation, SOPs, and validation reports
• Support change controls, deviations, and CAPA activities
• Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP , FDA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Validation, and Engineering teams
• Assist with automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering , or a related field
• 0–2 years of automation or manufacturing experience (internships/co-ops accepted)
• Basic knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, or DCS systems
• Understanding of GMP/cGMP and industrial automation concepts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Allen-Bradley, Siemens, DeltaV, Ignition, or Wonderware
• Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and control systems
• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and 21 CFR Part 11
• Internship or academic project experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing
