Entry-Level Bookkeeping Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records using QuickBooks.
• Organize and process receipts, vendor records, and financial documentation.
• Monitor accounts, contact customers regarding past due balances, and resolve payment deductions.
• Assist in the preparation of administrative accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and reporting accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform data entry, update records, and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or coursework in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting software is an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information. .

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
