Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance about various cannabis products and accessories
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on effects, usage, and benefits of different items
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment
• Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to age verification and product handling
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in multiple languages (bilingual skills are a plus)
• Basic math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of store merchandising principles and retail product knowledge is advantageous
• Willingness to learn about cannabis products, industry regulations, and store policies

Pay: From $15.16 per hour
