What they need
Join our high-end millwork company, where quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Shop Helper / Carpenter Helper. No extensive experience is required. We provide 1 month of paid training.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with fabricating and assembling custom woodwork, including cabinets, furniture, and other millwork.
- Assist carpenters with daily shop tasks.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Read and follow technical drawings and shop plans with guidance.
- Help ensure all projects meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work requirements:
- OSHA Certification
- NYC SST Certification
- Woodworking or carpentry experience is a plus.
- Experience with woodworking machinery is a plus.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
