Entry Level Detailer

Basic Job Functions: Division: NIPG Southeast Location: Lewisville, TX, United States Other Available Locations: N/A The role of the detailer is to coordinate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications in order to provide Nucor Insulated Panel Group product installation drawings and bills of materials.

• Interpret Structural and Architectural contract documents correctly and accurately.
• Develop detailed drawings utilizing both commercially available and proprietary software platforms to be used by manufacturing facilities to produce panels and associated accessories.
• Develop accurate and easy to follow, approval and/or construction drawings to assure the installed material meets the required performance specifications.
• Develop Bill of Materials to produce shipping lists of parts and components for plant and customer use.
• Communicate needs and challenges identified to all team members to assure quick disposition of issues.
• Interact with internal and external customers to develop design solutions that meet project specific requirements.
• Maintain a continued awareness of project schedule and budget.
• Meet or exceed department accuracy goals.
• Manage multiple ongoing projects from the design phase through the manufacturing phase(s) and through erection.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma

AutoCAD Experience

Preferred Qualifications: Previous AutoCAD experience
