Entry-Level Drafter (Autodesk Inventor)

An entry-level drafter proficient in Autodesk Inventor is responsible for creating and revising 2D drawings and 3D models to support engineering and manufacturing projects. This role involves interpreting engineering sketches and specifications, producing accurate technical documentation, and collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Assist engineers with design updates and prototype development.
• Organize CAD files and maintain document control.
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve drawing-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, CAD, Mechanical Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic proficiency in Autodesk Inventor.
• Familiarity with mechanical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and willingness to learn in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.
