• Master hands-on skills in energy efficiency, insulation, and home performance.
• Assist in air sealing, insulation removal and installs, and indoor air quality system improvements.

A Few Important Details

• We provide you with all of the tools and safety equipment you need to excel at this role. While a basic knowledge of hand and power tools is great to have, we will teach you to safely use all of the tools you will use.
• This role requires moderate to intense physical activity, including: lifting 50+ lbs, working in tight spaces, working on ladders and standing for extended periods.
• We work all year both inside and outside of customer's homes. Your safety is a priority to us and we will provide you with what you need to work safely on a daily basis.
• We work Monday - Friday, with a start time of promptly at 7:30am at our office in Brewster, NY.
• A background in construction, skilled trades, or spray foam insulation is a plus, but not required.
• Passion for sustainability, green energy, and making a difference is always a win!

What your first 6 months may look like

• Initial training is 2 weeks in the classroom and our shop. You will receive your BSP certification from BPI and learn the science behind what we do. You will also begin to develop the skills necessary to complete your apprenticeship.
• After that you will be assigned a Field Mentor who will work with you on a daily basis and be a resource for your questions and continue to help you develop your skills.
• Your progress through your apprenticeship is dictated by how quickly you learn, and can demonstrate the skills you will be taught.
• Once you complete your Apprenticeship, you begin earning a % of each project your work on, with your percentage increasing as you move from, Jr Tech > Tech > Sr Tech > Team Leader.

We do not set timeframes on your learning and development. We utilize a Career Ladder that guides you through your learning so it doesn't feel like expectations are constantly changing. Our goal is to see you succeed!
