Entry Level Line Cook

The Nash, located in the historic National Hotel in Inglewood, is looking for experienced line cooks to fill out their team on a full-time permanent basis. The line cook is responsible for several functions including, but not limited to, food preparation, inventory control, and expert time management. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking fine cuisine in a creative, professional team environment, and will have a minimum of 1 year experience or be working toward a Culinary Arts Diploma. If you enjoy a creative, fast-paced work environment, and love working in a team environment, this is the job for you.

Requirements:

• basic food safety
• completed culinary arts diploma, or working towards completing the diploma
• must be eligible to work in Canada
• standing & walking (10 + hours per day)
• lifting minimum of 25 lb consistently throughout the day
• must have basic understanding of hot & cold cooking techniques
• available mornings, nights & weekends

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Including Gratuity
