ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking reliable Entry Level Machine Operators for ongoing opportunities with a leading manufacturing client based in St Marys, NSW.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Applicants with previous experience working with steel products, concrete products, building materials, construction, manufacturing, labouring, recycling, production work, or other heavy materials are strongly encouraged to apply.

📍 Location: St Marys, NSW
💰 Pay Rate: $33.85ph - $38.93ph, Casual
⏰ Shift Schedules: 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm
📅 Casual Full-Time Hours
🚧 Immediate Starts Available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating production and manufacturing machinery
• Monitoring machinery and product quality
• Loading and unloading raw materials
• Working with steel, concrete, and other heavy products
• Packing and palletising finished products
• General production and labouring duties
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets

You are reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
✔ Current driver's licence
✔ Reliable vehicle and transport is essential
✔ Strong reliability and attendance record
✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
✔ Commitment to workplace safety
✔ Good communication skills

The following experience will be highly regarded:
✔ Steel manufacturing
✔ Concrete production
✔ Construction labouring
✔ Manufacturing and production environments
✔ Warehousing and process work
✔ Heavy materials handling

Previous machine operating experience is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.
