Entry Level Machinist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist in operating and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to produce precision parts and components. • Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting machine tooling
• Perform basic troubleshooting on industrial equipment and report issues promptly to maintenance teams.
• Follow safety standards in production environments while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Support fabrication tasks using hand tools, tooling, and shop math for precise assembly and finishing of parts.

Experience

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiar with "G Code"
• Basic understanding of mechanical knowledge, machine operation, and industrial equipment troubleshooting is a plus
• Ability to edit programs such as inputting speeds, feeds, tool heights, etc.
• Knowledge of basic lathe operations (turning, facing, boring)
• Ability to use precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers confidently.
• Experience machining\parts with tight tolerances
• Job has a manual labor component
• Ability to use angle grinders and dye grinders to clean parts
