Job Description

Capacity Expansion is seeking an Entry-Level Management Trainee to join our growing Grand Rapids team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and wants to develop the skills needed for future leadership responsibilities.

Our Management Trainees begin by learning the fundamentals of customer service, retail sales, and daily operations. Through hands-on experience, paid training, and ongoing coaching, team members gain exposure to team communication, performance tracking, and leadership development.

We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

What You'll Do

• Learn daily retail sales and customer service operations.
• Assist customers with product information, service options, and questions.
• Develop strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Work with experienced team leaders to understand daily performance goals.
• Participate in training sessions focused on sales techniques, customer experience, and leadership.
• Support team communication and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
• Build the foundational skills needed for potential advancement into leadership roles.

Previous Experience That Transfers Well

Compensation & Development

• $16–$20 per hour, based on qualifications and responsibilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Management Trainees work in customer-facing retail environments while learning sales, customer service, and operational responsibilities.

This position begins with hands-on customer-facing responsibilities and is not an immediate store management position.
