Entry level mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive repair team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across a variety of automotive systems. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of automotive repair, gaining hands-on experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and more. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about cars and eager to grow their mechanical expertise in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Duties

• Assist in performing routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and brake repairs.
• Support diagnostic procedures using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
• Learn to repair and replace suspension components, shocks & struts, and alignments under supervision.
• Aid in repairing diesel engines, powertrains, transmissions, and mechanical systems with guidance from senior technicians.
• Help with the inspection and repair of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and auto body components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with team members Basic
• Familiarity with schematics and automotive diagnostics tools is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to heavy equipment mechanics, auto estimating, GM vehicles, or auto body repair is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) are a bonus but not required for entry-level candidates.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
