About The Role We’re looking for a mechanical engineering student graduating in December 2026 to join CEIS’s engineering team. You’ll work on power generation projects, gaining hands-on experience and support from experienced engineers. This role is mostly remote, with occasional travel as needed, including in-person meetings with power generation leaders in Minnesota.

What You’ll Do

• Support engineering work on power generation projects
• Assist with design reviews, calculations, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams
• Help troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions
• Travel as needed for projects or to meet with power generation leaders in Minnesota

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, expected December 2026
• Currently living in Minnesota
• Students from NDSU, UND, and University of Minnesota campuses (Twin Cities, Duluth, Mankato) are encouraged to apply
• Internship, co-op, or relevant project experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Interest in the power generation industry
