Looking to jumpstart your legal career or gain valuable, hands-on law firm experience? Our downtown St. Louis client is seeking a motivated Temporary Intake Paralegal for a 3-month assignment .
This role serves as the crucial first point of contact for the firm, spending 80–90% of the workday communicating directly with potential clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and are eager to learn the inner workings of a high-volume plaintiff's practice, this is a prime opportunity to build your resume and work alongside an established legal team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- High-Volume Outreach: Spend 80–90% of the workday on the phone making contact with new leads and individuals reaching out via website or digital media inquiries.
- Data Management: Input PNC details accurately into the firm's CRM, ensuring precise contact info and demographics are recorded before routing to TrialWorks (case management system).
- Administrative Support: Assist in preparing, mailing, and scanning intake packages, authorizations, and client contracts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the intake team, paralegal managers, and attorneys to ensure a smooth, professional client onboarding process.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Communication & Service: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a natural desire to help people navigating legal challenges.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office products; experience with legal CRMs or TrialWorks is a plus.
- Detail & Accuracy: High attention to detail, particularly regarding data entry and record management.
- Initiative: Ability to self-start, manage high-volume daily tasks independently, and solve problems proactively.
