Entry-Level Production Assembler

Texas Microelectronics Corporation is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Assembler interested in a long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

· Inspect products using a microscope to workmanship standards.

· Perform assembly activities under microscope which may include component mounting, soldering, wire bonding, pull test, rework or other activities.

· Follow work orders, production drawings, engineering drawings or other visual aids.

· Use a variety of equipment and hand tools to assemble highly sensitive electronics components.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment every day.

· Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

· Adhere to the company and production department’s policies and procedures.

Solder Responsibilities

· Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to understand the soldering requirements for each project.

· Assemble and solder electronic components onto circuit boards or other electrical equipment according to specifications and quality standards.

· Inspect finished products to identify any soldering defects or quality issues and assess if rework or repairs are needed.

Required

· High School Diploma or GED or Technical Training.

· Basic computer proficiency: Windows, Microsoft Office and others.

· High level of attention to detail and quality work is a must.

Physical Demands

• The nature of the work can require extended use of a microscope.

Full Time, Non-Exempt plus benefits

· Salary $16.50 per hour
