As part of our team, you will be supporting our innovative technical customers including aerospace, solar, advanced display, etc. as well as scientific labs and universities around the world. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for producing glass parts and slides; singulating and bagging parts; wrapping, packaging, and shipping product; cutting paper and cardboard; assisting in the cleanroom and production area; as well as other duties assigned. After successful training period, associate will learn to operate highly accurate CNC glass scribers.

Job Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented and have good hand-eye coordination
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions; use of machinery and manufacturing experience is a plus
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand on your feet in one area for 8+ hours each day
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Years of Related Experience: 0-1 years of experience, on-the-job training provided
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:** Basic communication skills (both verbal and written). Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. The ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate:

• $17.00 - $18.00/hour
• Performance based raises after training period
• Quarterly profit sharing can boost overall pay considerably.

Hours:

• Part-time during training period (20 - 30 hrs/week), then Full-time, 40 hours/week, occasional overtime
