What they need
Competitive, outgoing, and great on the phone? You may be exactly who we're looking for.
Carver Group is growing, and we're looking for an Entry Level Recruiter to help us identify, engage, and hire talented people for our expanding organization.
This is not a quiet, behind-the-scenes HR position. Recruiting with us is fast-paced, people-focused, and highly communication-driven. You'll spend your day speaking with candidates, building relationships, managing interview schedules, sourcing talent, and keeping our hiring pipeline moving.
If you're the type of person who can talk to anyone, stays organized when things get busy, and likes having clear goals to work toward, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in recruiting, talent acquisition, and human resources.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Entry Level Recruiter, you'll help manage the candidate experience from initial outreach through the hiring process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Make approximately 80–100 outbound recruiting calls per day
- Contact active applicants and proactively source potential candidates
- Conduct initial candidate conversations and phone screens
- Build rapport quickly and communicate career opportunities clearly
- Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with the management team
- Follow up with candidates throughout each stage of the interview process
- Re-engage previous applicants and passive candidates
- Maintain an organized and active candidate pipeline
- Use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to document candidate activity and hiring progress
- Coordinate interview schedules and candidate confirmations
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current hiring needs and candidate qualifications
- Track recruiting activity, interview volume, candidate retention, and hiring results
- Provide candidates with clear expectations and next steps
- Assist with recruiting projects, job boards, sourcing initiatives, and other administrative responsibilities as needed
This Is a High-Activity Recruiting Role
We want candidates to understand what the position looks like before applying.
A significant portion of your day will be spent on the phone communicating with candidates. Recruiters are expected to complete approximately 80–100 outbound calls each day while also managing follow-ups, interviews, candidate communication, and ATS updates.
Success requires consistency, urgency, organization, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude throughout a high-volume workday.
If you enjoy talking to people and working toward measurable goals, you'll likely enjoy this environment.
Who We're Looking For
You do not need years of recruiting experience to be successful here. We're more interested in finding someone with the right communication skills, work ethic, and personality.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Outgoing, personable, and confident
- Comfortable spending a significant amount of the workday on the phone
- Competitive and motivated by goals
- Professional and energetic when speaking with candidates
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Consistent with follow-up and communication
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Coachable and willing to learn
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team
- Comfortable being held accountable to daily and weekly recruiting metrics
Experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, hospitality, call centers, administrative support, or other people-facing positions is helpful but not required.
Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), CRM, LinkedIn, job boards, or candidate sourcing is also a plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Compensation
$700 base pay plus bonuses and commission
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process based on experience and qualifications.
