Systems Architect

Wellington Security Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled entry level Systems Architect to join our team. This role bridges engineering, sales, and field operations, supporting system design, product evaluation, and customer engagement.

The Systems Architect will work closely with the sales team, operations team, and clients, to ensure the highest possible level of customer experience. The person must possess a willingness to learn, be technically savvy, and be customer focused to further establish employee, client, and partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop system designs and layouts using AutoCAD for Burglar alarm, Access control, Video Surveillance, Telephone entry, Video intercoms, and Fire alarm.
• Prepare accurate job quotes and project estimates
• Stay up to date on product offerings and updates
• Partner with sales representatives on customer site visits
• Assist technicians with design/product parameters
• Participate in weekly sales and installation meetings
• Conduct field testing of new equipment and technologies
• Deliver product demonstrations to customers
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to evaluate solutions and maintain relationships

Qualifications

• Adaptable Communication skills with customers and staff
• Prefered Security industry experience in installation and service
• Understanding of security regulations, construction, materials, and industry
• Strict attention to detail
• The ability to communicate/present to customers clearly and knowledgably
• Familiar with Drafting and Field management software’s
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal property and safety regulations
• Familiar with commercial IT infrastructure and requirements
• Confident, assertive, and decisive
• Good administrative, time management and analytical skills
• Resourceful
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules and maintain multiple projects

As a systems architect, you will play a key role within our sales and design team to provide our customers with a 5-star experience. You will work along side our experienced sales team to deliver custom solutions and demonstrations to both new and existing customers.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
