Sands Auto Group is looking for a motivated Entry‑Level Technician to join our team in our custom upfit/accessories department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, learning new skills, and being part of a fast‑growing specialty branch of the dealership.

What You’ll Do

• Install aftermarket accessories (running boards, bed covers, floor liners, mud flaps, etc.)
• Assist with custom upfit projects for trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles
• Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and dealership standards
• Work closely with the accessory manager to complete daily jobs
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy

Experience Required

• Prior hands‑on mechanical, shop, or installation experience (professional or personal)
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience installing automotive accessories
• Basic electrical knowledge (wiring lights, harnesses, etc.)
• Previous dealership or shop experience
