Environment & Social Officer (Based overseas)

Summary of Responsibilities

• Under the direction from (Sr.) Chief Engineer – Environment & Social to comply, maintain, implement all environmental and social according to Concession Agreement (CA) and Environmental Management and Monitoring during Operation Phase (EMMP-OP)

Responsibilities

• Coordination and supervision of all works associated with the CA and EMMP-OP.
• Coordinate and cooperate with all relevant authorities and regulators.
• Preparation of all related reports and documents as appropriate.
• Administer assigned environmental and social monitoring activities as directed by the Senior Supervisor or Chief Engineer – Environment & Social.
• Develop and maintain the project environmental and social database.
• Develop and generate project data and information for presentation and dissemination.
• Sampling and Lab. Analysis of water and related fields.
• Performing other duties assigned by Sr. Supervisor – Environment & Social or above position.
• Operate in compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ISO 45001 (Safety & Occupational Health) management systems.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree of Science in Environment Science or related to Social
• Graduates in social development or social protection will be given special consideration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in environment & social field
• ISO14001 (Environmental Management); familiarity with Concession Agreement (CA) requirements
• Good communication skill in English
