Environment Coordinator

1. Regulatory Compliance: Manage all environmental permits, licenses, and renewals to ensure full adherence to local and national laws.

2. ISO 14001 Management: Maintain and audit the site's Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.

3. Waste Management: Oversee the safe handling, storage, transport, and legal disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

4. Site Inspections: Conduct routine site walkthroughs to identify environmental risks, spill hazards, and operational non-compliance.

5. Incident Response: Lead root-cause investigations for spills or environmental breaches and execute corrective action plans (CAPA).

6. Data Tracking & Reporting: Measure emissions, energy use, and waste metrics to prepare regulatory compliance filings and management reports.

7. Environmental Testing: Coordinate air, water, effluent, and soil sampling programs with accredited testing laboratories.

8. Staff Training: Design and deliver employee training on environmental awareness, waste handling, and emergency spill response.

9. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

10. Key Experience & Certifications: 2–5 years of HSE experience, ideally supported by ISO 14001 auditing, HAZWOPER, or OSHA certifications.

Pay: QAR10,500.00 per month
