Environmental Commissioning Engineer

About the role

Responsible for the technical planning, coordination, and performance verification of environmental protection systems during commissioning and production start-up of an agrochemical manufacturing facility. The role ensures that wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste management systems are technically prepared to manage process-related environmental loads and support safe, stable plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop environmental commissioning plans, test procedures, readiness criteria, and performance acceptance requirements aligned with the plant's production processes
• Review process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment specifications, and control philosophies for wastewater treatment and air pollution control systems
• Evaluate the segregation and controlled introduction of wastewater streams to prevent treatment instability, biological inhibition, and excessive pollutant loading
• Coordinate commissioning and performance evaluation of effluent treatment systems, scrubbers, solvent vapour control systems, and other applicable environmental protection equipment
• Optimize treatment parameters, chemical dosing strategies, and operating sequences to improve pollutant removal efficiency and operational reliability
