Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Control Officer (ECO) for our HDB Build-To-Order (BTO) project. In this role, you will manage site-level environmental control measures, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain site environmental health and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections for dust, noise, waste, water pollution and housekeeping.

• Implement and maintain the Environmental Management Plan.

• Monitor environmental control measures and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain inspection records, monitoring reports and environmental documentation.

• Conduct environmental briefings and awareness training for site personnel.

• Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors and relevant authorities.

• Report environmental incidents and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).

• Registered Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO) certification with IES/ACES will be an added advantage.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience on HDB BTO or residential construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of local environmental control regulations, noise management, and vector control.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
