What they need
Coffee Gold Project, Yukon
Talamore Mining is a Vancouver-based exploration and development company focused on advancing high-potential base and precious metals projects across the Americas. Our flagship asset is the 100%-owned Coffee Project in the Yukon, Canada — a high-quality gold project advancing through the final stages of permitting, engineering, and resource expansion drilling in preparation for a construction decision. At Talamore Mining, we are committed to building value through disciplined project development, responsible stewardship of the land, and a focus on creating long-term returns for shareholders. As we transition from exploration into development at the Coffee Project, we are strengthening our onsite technical teams to support environmental compliance programs. We are seeking an Environmental Coordinator to support the environmental programs required with construction operations activities, ensuring the project is aligned with all regulatory requirements and project commitments. This role is camp-based, permanent role, rotating on a 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with permits, track corrective actions, and communicate regularly with the Environmental Manager on compliance interpretation and emerging risks.
- Carry out environmental monitoring programs in accordance with procedures and schedules.
- Monitor active work areas to verify mitigation measures and support incident response.
- Oversee environmental technicians and contractors, and deliver site orientations, training, and toolbox talks to support compliance and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–6 years’ progressive experience in environmental monitoring in the mining or resource sector.
- Experience working across a broad range of environmental programs, such as water quality and hydrology, sediment and erosion control, wildlife management, spill prevention and clean up and groundwater.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field from an accredited university (diploma will be accepted with additional relevant work experience).
- Registered, or eligible for registration as a Qualified Professional (e.g., R.P. Bio., P. Ag.) is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Why Join Us
- Opportunity to play a key role in building a new Yukon gold mine
- Strong culture focused on safety, discipline, accountability, and teamwork
- Competitive compensation and the opportunity to grow with an advancing Canadian mining company
