Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage and monitor environmental compliance and sustainability-related activities at the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Manage environmental aspects related to STP, ETP, waste management, water management, and pollution control.
• Monitor and maintain environmental records, reports, permits, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and regulatory authorities for environmental compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify environmental risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proper segregation, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Monitor water, wastewater, air quality, and other environmental parameters as applicable.
• Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Prepare MIS reports and maintain relevant environmental documentation.
• Drive awareness and sustainability initiatives at the facility.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Facility Management, and HSE teams for environmental improvement activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in environmental management, facility management, manufacturing, industrial, pharma, IT/ITES, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of STP/ETP, waste management, environmental compliance, pollution control, and sustainability.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Candidates with experience in handling environmental audits and statutory compliance will be preferred.
