About the role

The Environmental Engineer is a full-time role based in Map Ta Phut, combining on-site responsibilities. The role involves monitoring and managing environmental performance for plant and project activities, including air, water, and waste-related aspects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage environmental performance for plant and project activities, including air, water, and waste-related aspects
• Evaluate environmental risks and support permit applications
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure environmental compliance
• Contribute to the design and optimization of wastewater treatment and waste management systems
• Support environmental impact assessments
• Recommend practical mitigation measures
• Assist in audits and implement improvement initiatives
• Promote best practices aligned with relevant regulations and company standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Consulting, including understanding of local and international environmental regulations and standards
• Skills in Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management, including experience with design, operation, or optimization of treatment and disposal systems
• Skills in Environmental Impact Assessment, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of technical reports and documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills in English; Thai language skills are beneficial
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic project environment
• Experience in industrial, petrochemical, or chemical plant environments is an advantage
