Solid Waste / Landfill Engineer (APM to Senior PM)

Braintree, MA or Providence, RI | Hybrid | Permanent

$100,000 to $175,000 depending on experience

I'm working with a well-established engineering consultancy that has one of the leading solid waste practices in New England. They're growing the team and looking for PE licensed solid waste and landfill engineers at Assistant PM through Senior PM level.

This is a long-term growth hire, not a one-off. You'll join a busy practice with a strong pipeline of MSW, CCR and industrial waste work across New England, taking projects from design through permitting and into construction.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading design, permitting and construction phase services for solid waste facilities

• Designing landfill systems including liners, leachate and stormwater infrastructure, gas collection, site roadways and support structures

• Preparing permit applications, design reports, construction documents, specifications and cost estimates

• Coordinating regulatory agency review

• Developing proposals, budgets and schedules

• Managing client, contractor and regulatory relationships

• Mentoring junior engineers

What they're looking for:

• 5 to 15+ years in solid waste or landfill engineering, covering design, permitting, document preparation and CQA

• Experience coordinating regulatory review and permitting

• PE licence (required)

• B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering (M.S. preferred)

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

• Project, budget and client management experience

• Geotechnical engineers with strong waste experience will also be considered
