Environmental Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project's Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, DENR regulations, permits, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and monitoring of construction activities.
• Monitor waste management, wastewater discharge, air quality, noise levels, and pollution prevention measures.
• Prepare environmental reports, documentation, monitoring records, and compliance submissions.
• Coordinate with relevant government agencies, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Identify potential environmental risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox meetings for project personnel.
• Investigate environmental incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain environmental permits, records, and other required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in environmental management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or railway projects.
• Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws, DENR regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience in environmental inspections, monitoring, reporting, and implementation of environmental management plans.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to start immediately.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
