Environmental Engineer I

The engineer will provide environmental consulting to industrial facilities in areas such as industrial storm water and wastewater quality, spill prevention, hazardous materials and waste management, and air quality. The engineer will visit industrial manufacturing facilities to observe operations and monitor the operation’s impact on the environment. The engineer will prepare reports for submittal to the facilities and/or regulatory agencies documenting the facility’s compliance status, providing recommendations for protecting human health and the environment, and quantifying data such as water quality discharges and air emissions. The job will include a wide variety of tasks that will expose the employee to the vast world of environmental compliance. The job will involve approximately 50% travel, mostly in the Southeastern US.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Be a motivated self‐starter and self‐learner, very organized, strong attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Have a GPA above 3.0 (Please provide an unofficial transcript).
• Have client focused attitude and willingness to understand client needs.
• Have strong communication skills and willingness to interact with coworkers, clients, and regulators on a frequent basis.
