What they need
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental requirements, HSE policies and applicable UAE regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections for dust, noise, waste management, water pollution and environmental hazards.
- Implement and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and site environmental control measures.
- Ensure proper waste segregation, disposal, recycling and hazardous material management at project sites.
- Prepare environmental reports, inspection records and documentation, and coordinate with HSE teams, consultants, clients and relevant authorities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, HSE or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant environmental experience in roads, utilities or civil construction projects.
- UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, pollution control and environmental monitoring.
- HSE/environmental certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent are an advantage
