ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and requirements set by relevant authorities.
• Manage scheduled waste in accordance with environmental regulations, including proper storage, labelling, documentation, and disposal.
• Monitor environmental performance and maintain accurate environmental records.
• Prepare environmental reports, documentation, and compliance submissions.
• Coordinate environmental inspections, audits, and follow-up actions.
• Liaise with the Department of Environment (DOE) and other relevant authorities on environmental matters.
• Ensure proper implementation of environmental management procedures and workplace practices.
• Perform other duties related to environmental management as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Cert or Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Candidates possessing relevant environmental certifications such as CePBFO, CePSO, or CePSWaM are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, scheduled waste management, and environmental compliance.
• Good communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
