Job Responsibilities

• Assist in project operations and project-related tasks
• Conduct environmental field surveys and associated technical activities
• Draft bilingual (Japanese/English) reports, survey records, and technical documents
• Assist in coordination with government agencies and private companies
• Coordinate with external partner companies and contractors
• Participate in team activities and support team operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the organization

Employment Type

Full-time
Working hours: 8:00–17:00 (with a 1-hour break from 12:00–13:00)

Discretionary Work System

• Specialized-type discretionary labor system (for natural science research and new technology development)
• Deemed working hours per day: 8 hours
• Overtime: Yes
• Average monthly overtime: approx. 30 hours
• Special provisions under the labor-management agreement (Article 36):

In cases of concentrated orders, schedule changes, urgent responses, month-end work, or unexpected tasks, overtime may extend to 8 hours per day, 9 hours up to 6 times per month, and up to 720 hours per year.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (Biology, Environmental Science, or related fields)
• Strong team leadership skills
• Advanced bilingual ability (Japanese/English – reading and writing)
• Experience in project management
• PC skills: MS Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (Environmental Sector)
• Other technical/environmental certifications

勤務地:

There are several domestic and overseas business trips per year (depending on assigned projects).
Smoking is prohibited inside the office.

Compensation

• Commuting allowance: actual cost reimbursed (no upper limit)
• Car commuting: allowed; parking available
• Salary payment date: 25th of each month (same-month payment)
• Salary increase: available
• Annual raise rate: 0.00%–2.00%
• Bonuses: twice per year
• Bonus amount: 100,000–1,000,000 JPY (previous year’s results)
