Environmental Services Aide

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A friendly and compassionate Environmental Services Aide! As an Environmental Services Aide at St. Johnland, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our facility, helping to maintain a safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff, adhering to infection control policies and all safety protocols. Responsibilities include:

• Daily dusting, sweeping vacuuming, and mopping of floors
• Polishing furniture
• Cleaning restrooms and trash removal
• Disinfecting all areas as scheduled
• Laundry services as needed – Assist in processing resident clothing and linen distribution
• May also provide assistance to grounds department during inclement weather

WHAT YOU NEED:
(Requirements/Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Frequent bending and walking required
• Experience in long term care preferred
• Experience in floor care preferred, but not required
• One year of similar cleaning experience preferred
• Commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents
