SiteCare Limited delivers specialist environmental services across New Zealand, supporting the maintenance of stormwater and trade waste infrastructure for major clients.

Our work focuses on keeping drainage systems operating effectively and ensuring sites remain compliant, safe, and well-maintained. This includes programmed maintenance of catchpits, sumps, interceptors, and associated systems using vacuum tanker equipment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role focused on stormwater and trade waste maintenance. Full training will be provided for the right person, including vacuum tanker operation and industry-specific processes.

You will be working across a range of sites completing scheduled maintenance and supporting reactive works as required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with and carrying out cleaning of stormwater sumps, catchpits, and trade waste assets
• Operating vacuum tankers and associated equipment (training provided)
• Completing routine maintenance programmes to required standards
• Identifying blockages, build-up, or maintenance issues within drainage systems
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with environmental requirements
• Completing job documentation, load tracking, and basic reporting
• Maintaining equipment, hoses, and tools in good working condition

About You

This role suits someone practical, reliable, and willing to learn a specialised trade.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a hands-on role (construction, drainage, civil, or similar preferred but not essential)
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• A practical, problem-solving mindset
• Class 4 Drivers licence (required)
