About the Role

As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Environmental Services employees, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned and disinfected to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for coordinating daily cleaning schedules, maintaining supplies and equipment, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Your exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Environmental Services employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance
• Develop and implement daily cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and disinfected to the highest standards
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance issues
• Maintain and manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and support
• Address any patient or staff concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve processes and outcomes

Requirements

• 0 years of experience in a supervisory role in Environmental Services or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
