UPMC Muncy is seeking a Full-TimeEnvironmentalServices****Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Every third weekend and every third holiday required

WhatYou'llDo

• Clean resident rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Make beds and prepare rooms according to department standards.
• Empty trash and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, boxes, curtains, and other items as needed.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours and walk 5-10 miles during shift.
• May work in areas where medications are stored; no handling of medications is required or permitted.
