Coffee Gold Project, Yukon
Talamore Mining is a Vancouver-based exploration and development company focused on advancing high-potential base and precious metals projects across the Americas. Our flagship asset is the 100%-owned Coffee Project in the Yukon, Canada — a high-quality gold project advancing through the final stages of permitting, engineering, and resource expansion drilling in preparation for a construction decision. At Talamore mining, we are committed to building value through disciplined project development, responsible stewardship of the land, and a focus on creating long-term returns for shareholders. As we transition from exploration into development at the Coffee Project, we are strengthening our environmental team to support environmental monitoring and permit compliance. We are seeking an Environmental Technician to assist in the execution of environmental field programming and compliance activities. This is a contract position based at the Coffee Project, with a rotating 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in training and collect field data and samples for environmental monitoring programs (e.g., water quality, groundwater, bird and wildlife, soil, ML/ARD, rare plants, invasive plants, sediment and erosion control).
- Complete chain of custody documentation and prepare, package, and ship samples to laboratories.
- Enter field data accurately and in a timely manner, including basic quality checks.
- Calibrate, install, maintain, and prepare field sampling and monitoring equipment.
- Conduct inspections to support environmental management plans and permit compliance, noting deficiencies
- Support incident and spill prevention and response, including field response and documentation.
- Maintain organized records and compile environmental data to support reporting.
- Provide field input into procedures, inspections, and program improvements.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in working in an environmental monitoring discipline.
- Class 5 Drivers’ license.
- Experience working outdoors in northern or remote environments, with the ability to work independently.
