Environmental Worker

Overview

The Environmental Worker helps maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary facility. This role supports a safe and welcoming environment by completing routine cleaning and custodial tasks in accordance with established procedures.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and shared spaces.
• Perform routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying waste and recycling bins.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and follow applicable instructions.
• Restock supplies and report low inventory, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas neat and orderly.
• Follow facility procedures for hygiene, sanitation, and handling waste.

Experience

• Previous custodial experience is preferred.
• Experience with cleaning in a workplace or facility setting is an asset.
• Commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
• Applicants should be dependable, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $17.60-$25.91 per hour
