EPIC EHR Trainer

AACI is currently seeking an experienced EPIC EHR Trainer to join our AIS team and support the organization's clinical technology training and adoption initiatives.

This individual will develop standardized training resources, facilitate onboarding and continuing education, support system upgrades, and collaborate with organizational stakeholders to improve workflows and system utilization.

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of Epic workflows combined with the ability to translate technical processes into clear, effective training for healthcare professionals.

Essential Functions Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain Epic EHR training curricula.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and role-specific training.
• Provide Epic training and support throughout employee onboarding and role transitions.
• Develop standardized workflow documentation and instructional resources.
• Evaluate staff competency and identify opportunities for retraining.
• Participate in testing and implementation activities associated with Epic upgrades and enhancements.
• Facilitate adoption of new workflows and system functionality.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership, medical directors, Quality Improvement, and AIS staff.
• Utilize system and quality data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and healthcare delivery.
• Provide Microsoft 365 education and support.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of Epic EHR experience.
• 2+ years providing Epic EHR support to staff.
• Demonstrated experience developing Epic training programs and workflow documentation.
• Experience training healthcare staff on end-to-end Epic workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Preferred: OCHIN Epic experience and familiarity with HEDIS and healthcare quality measures.
