Epic Mychart Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, validate, test, and implement Epic systems that enhance clinical and business operations.
• Independently develop and maintain core Epic modules while ensuring seamless integration with other EHR applications.
• Establish long-term Epic strategies and best practices across IT and operational teams.
• Communicate upcoming system changes, their potential impact, and required actions to key stakeholders.
• Educate operational leadership on workflow optimization, process improvement, and Epic best practices.
• Support policy development and implementation.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle leadership on reporting, work queue optimization, and workflow design.
• Improve revenue cycle performance through workflow standardization and process enhancements.
• Lead the resolution of Epic issues and manage new enhancement requests.
• Prepare and review decision documents, SBARDs, and supporting technical documentation.
• Facilitate client meetings, maintain strong relationships, and monitor client satisfaction.
• Provide occasional after-hours support and overnight travel as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Epic implementation experience.
• E pic Administrator Certification in a designated module, specifically Epic MyChart and Cadence. Kiosk and Welcome experience needed.
• At least 5 years of Epic build experience, preferably in revenue cycle functions, including billing and patient access.
• Familiarity with other Epic revenue cycle applications and their integrations.
• Understanding of interfaces and interface messaging.
• Strong knowledge of hospital and/or ambulatory revenue cycle operations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, potentially once per month; this role does not require full-time travel.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours, including occasional overnight support.
