About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Epic OpTime/Anesthesia Analyst
to support a long-term managed services engagement with a healthcare organization in the United States.
The selected candidate will provide ongoing production support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications. This role is essential to maintaining stable application performance and supporting efficient surgical and perioperative workflows.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia, a strong understanding of operating room and anesthesia workflows, and experience supporting clinical applications in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide day-to-day production support for Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, configuration defects, workflow interruptions, and system errors.</li>
<li>Support surgical scheduling, operating room management, case management, and anesthesia documentation workflows.</li>
<li>Manage incidents, service requests, and application changes in accordance with established service-level agreements (SLAs).</li>
<li>Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.</li>
<li>Support application maintenance, configuration updates, enhancements, testing, and release-related changes.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to improve application stability and clinical workflow efficiency.</li>
<li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, perioperative nurses, surgical schedulers, and IT teams.</li>
<li>Maintain application documentation and follow established support procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in on-call rotations, after-hours maintenance, and escalation coverage as required.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Hands-on experience supporting Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia applications.</li>
<li>Understanding of perioperative, surgical, or anesthesia clinical workflows.</li>
<li>Experience providing production support and troubleshooting healthcare IT applications.</li>
<li>Knowledge of incident management, service requests, and application maintenance processes.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical stakeholders and technical teams.</li>
<li>Strong English communication skills.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Experience working in a managed services environment.</li>
<li>Familiarity with SLAs, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes.</li>
<li>Experience with Epic application configuration, testing, upgrades, and enhancements.</li>
<li>Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia certification.</li>
</ul>
