Epic Orders Analyst

Job Summary

As an Epic Orders Analyst, you’ll help design, configure, and support electronic health record ordering workflows. You’ll partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams to translate needs into reliable solutions, support implementations, and troubleshoot issues. Your impact: Clear, well-designed ordering workflows help care teams place and manage orders accurately and efficiently.

Duties

• Analyze business needs and requirements; document workflows and recommend solution architecture and system design.
• Configure, test, implement, and maintain Epic Orders functionality, integrations, and enterprise solutions.
• Investigate incidents, provide technical troubleshooting support, debug issues, and coordinate resolutions across teams.
• Support systems integration, data exchange, and reporting using SQL, databases, extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, and application programming interfaces (APIs), including REST and SOAP web services.
• Maintain configuration and version control; contribute to software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and information security practices.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, requirements analysis, software implementation, systems engineering, application development, or related IT work; computer science or equivalent knowledge is helpful.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or NoSQL; scripting or programming experience with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar is useful.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, microservices, cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, IT infrastructure, operating systems, networking, security, and system administration is preferred.
• Exposure to Salesforce, Pegasystems, Kubernetes, VMware, Git, Jenkins, Linux, Windows, or other listed technologies is a plus; expertise across every technology is not required.
• Strong cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, and a service-oriented approach to technical problem-solving.

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
