Epic Orders Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Epic Orders Analyst to join the Core Clinical Orders team supporting clinical systems modernization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Epic technical build experience, particularly in Orders, Order Transmittal, Order Sets, and/or ICON, along with strong healthcare business systems analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, modify, test, and maintain complex business systems and Epic applications.
• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure and optimize Epic clinical workflows, screens, reports, interfaces, and integrations.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for system enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and resolve user- and vendor-reported incidents.
• Manage service incidents and requests involving Epic configurations and integrations.
• Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for external vendors and resolve integration-related challenges.
• Support clinical systems modernization and continuous workflow improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant healthcare IT or business systems analysis experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Epic technical build experience.
• Current Epic certification or proficiency in one or more of the following:
• Epic Orders
• Order Transmittal
• Order Sets
• ICON
• Strong understanding of clinical systems, technical configuration, and integrations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience presenting system prototypes and functional models to business users.
