Position Overview:

Client is seeking a Systems Application Analyst III – Epic Willow Ambulatory to support, analyze, optimize, and enhance healthcare applications and workflows. This is an IT-focused role supporting ambulatory pharmacy systems and requires strong Epic build experience and a Bachelor’s degree with a Computer Science background .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced application support and troubleshooting.
• Analyze application functionality and workflows.
• Support system enhancements, optimization, and integration.
• Evaluate how applications interact with clinical and operational departments.
• Recommend workflow and application improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional discussions and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational teams.
• Assist with application implementation and changes.
• Mentor team members and help establish priorities.
• Lead or participate in projects and application initiatives.
• Adapt to changing technical and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of application support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a Computer Science background required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred, not required , based on the latest client clarification.
• Epic Build experience required.
• Epic Willow Certification required upon hire.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of healthcare application workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare IT experience.
• Epic Willow/Ambulatory experience.
• Pharmacy application experience.
• 2+ years of project management and/or application lead experience.
• Experience supporting clinical applications and workflow optimization.
