Epidemiologist/Data Manager

G2S is seeking an Epidemiologist/Data Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate the core responsibilities and qualifications necessary for the role of an Epidemiologist/Data Manager, highlighting expertise in epidemiology, data management, and technical proficiency with relevant software and systems.

Description of Role: Epidemiology and surveillance support. Analytical reviews; identifies data systems issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience providing epidemiology and surveillance support.
• Experience designing and implementing performing analytical reviews, and updates on data validations utilizing REDCap and SAS programs.
• Experience identifying data systems issues.
• Experience developing and implementing solutions to address systems issues.
• Experience conducting quality control for surveillance systems.
• Knowledge and experience providing recommended changes to database.
• Experience developing web applications to track birth defects surveillance activities.
• Experience conducting monitor users, network use, adjust configurations and implement system enhancements.

Duties:

• Epidemiology and surveillance support.
• Analytical reviews.
• Identifies data systems issues.
• Install, maintain, and support data networks for Surveillance for Emerging Threats to Pregnant People and Infants Network (SET-NET).
• Development and maintain standard operations procedures for data management.
• Develop technical training guides.

Experience:

• Public health: 3 years (Preferred)
• Data management: 3 years (Preferred)
• SAS: 2 years (Required)
• REDcap: 1 year (Required)
