Lee Health is seeking a Neurologist!

Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 18,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,300 employed primary care and specialty care providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

LPG Neurology is seeking a full-time Epileptologist board eligible/board certified in Neurology to join their busy practice. The physician will see patients in our Riverwalk office and in the EMU at Gulf Coast Medical Center. Work collaboratively with the Neurohospitalist program to provide high quality care for the community. Candidates for this position will be required to do some bread-and-butter neurology. The EMU has four adult beds. Share call with one other Epileptologist.

Hospital Summary:

Gulf Coast Medical Center is a 699-bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL. Gulf Coast Medical Center houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat strokes, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit. GCMC is a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with 2 certified Primary Stroke Centers at Cape Coral Hospital and Lee Memorial Hospital.

Lee Health has the areas only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Lee Memorial Hospital is a 362 bed Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and houses the Rehabilitation Hospital. A mainstay in our community for more than 100 years, Lee Memorial has a rich history of serving our communities.
