EPO Project Delivery Advisor

Ōtautahi Community Housing Trust (ŌCHT) manages around 2,500 homes across Christchurch.

About the role

Reporting to the Director Quality, Risk & Performance and working within the Enterprise Portfolio Office, you will coordinate and drive delivery across a range of organisational projects. You will translate approved business cases and project plans into clear actions, maintain momentum, resolve day-to-day delivery issues and ensure outcomes are completed, embedded and handed over effectively.

What you will do

• Turn approved project scopes and plans into coordinated delivery activity
• Develop and maintain practical delivery plans, milestones, actions and reporting
• Coordinate people, resources, suppliers and dependencies to keep projects on track
• Identify and resolve delivery issues, escalating significant risks or decisions when needed
• Support testing, implementation, change activity and operational handover
• Track progress, expenditure, risks, benefits and completion of agreed outcomes

About you

You are an organised and pragmatic project professional who enjoys making things happen. You bring structure without unnecessary bureaucracy, build productive working relationships and stay focused on delivery. You are comfortable working across teams, following up actions and stepping in to solve practical problems.

You will ideally have:

• Three to five years’ experience coordinating or delivering projects in a complex organisation
• Demonstrated ability to take projects from approved plan through implementation and close-out
• Strong planning, organisation, problem-solving and follow-through
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, suppliers, risks, budgets and dependencies
• Clear written and verbal communication, including concise project reporting
• A relevant project delivery qualification or equivalent practical experience

Experience delivering business improvement, systems, property or organisational change projects is an advantage.
