Equipment & Facilities Technician

IDE ENTERPRISES, LLC | FULL-TIME | $21.00–$26.00 PER HOUR

Ide Enterprises is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to support our electrical construction and oil & gas operations. This hands-on position combines equipment transportation, basic mechanical maintenance, shop upkeep, and occasional field support.

Work area: Harding and Camptown, PA facilities and regional jobsites. Applicants in or near Tunkhannock, PA are encouraged to apply. An assigned company truck may be taken home.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, supplies, trailers, and construction equipment between facilities and jobsites.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators.
• Operate company trucks and trailers within applicable licensing and vehicle-rating limits.
• Perform oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Inspect and care for assigned trucks and trailers; identify deficiencies and maintain DOT-ready condition.
• Maintain exterior grounds at Harding and Camptown, including mowing, snow removal, and general upkeep.
• Keep shops, equipment storage areas, and trailers clean and organized.
• Assist commercial, industrial, and oil & gas field crews as operational needs require.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and experience towing trailers.
• Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand and power tools, and basic equipment maintenance skills.
• Ability to safely load and unload construction equipment and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL; construction, excavation, trucking, or equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to independently operate a skid steer or excavator; experience with trailer repairs, hydraulics, or small engines.
