• Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Cost Reduction – 40%
• Diagnose and resolve complex automation equipment faults, including robotics, vision systems, PLCs, servo drives, and HMI.
• Use programming software, schematics, and diagnostic tools to restore equipment quickly.
• Document failures, root causes, and corrective actions in the EMS & CMP system.
• Reduce costs through in-house programming, component repair, and energy optimization of automated lines.
• Preventive Maintenance & Supervision – 20%
• Develop and execute PM plans for automation assets based on OEM recommendations and operational data.
• Supervise technicians during PM execution to ensure adherence to standards.
• Monitor PM metrics, spare parts usage, and MTTR/MTBF trends; optimize maintenance strategy.
• Equipment Qualification, Modification & New Project Implementation – 20%
• Lead or support automation retrofits, new equipment integration, and capacity expansion projects.
• Collaborate with process, IT, and NPI teams to define automation requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers for installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Ensure modifications are documented, risk-assessed, and integrated into SOPs.
• Equipment Training & Safety Compliance – 10%
• Train operators and maintenance staff on safe operation, basic programming, and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
• Enforce safety standards, including robot safety zones, LOTO, and emergency stop procedures.
• Support safety audits and risk assessments for automated systems.
• Equipment Documentation & Procedure Updates – 10%
• Maintain and update automation-related documentation: SOPs, PM checklists, wiring diagrams, PLC code backups, and BOMs.
• Ensure version control and field alignment.
• Support internal/external audits with accurate equipment records.、 Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation equipment engineering, preferably in electronics or optoelectronics manufacturing.
• Experience with robotics, vision systems, and industrial communication protocols is highly preferred. Skills & Other Requirements
• Proficiency in PLC programming HMI design, and robotics.
• Familiar with vision systems, servo drives, and industrial networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• CET 6 certified with strong spoken English communication skills
• Knowledge of ESD & safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving ability, project management mindset, and teamwork.
