Equipment Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical production equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform root cause investigation to reduce machine downtime.
• Analyze equipment performance using OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to enhance equipment availability and production efficiency.
• Perform equipment installation, commissioning, qualification and improvement activities for new and existing machines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems including PLC, sensors, motors, servo systems and control systems.
• Support mechanical and electrical improvement projects to improve productivity, quality and machine performance.
• Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Develop and maintain equipment documents including PM schedules, maintenance records, troubleshooting guides and work instructions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, EHS requirements and company procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in equipment engineering, maintenance engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation or related roles.

• Experience in lithium battery, semiconductor, electronics, automotive or high-volume manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
